Homemade Butter Recipe
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
I was inspired to make my own butter because I am daily removing the cream (fat) from the top of the fresh cow milk I am buying and then boiling for my son. My grandma asked me recently what I had been doing with all that cream I take off and for almost 3 years I have just been using it when I can in a recipe for example when I boil cream of wheat and or throwing it out. I can't believe I haven't made butter before.
So if you have a chance to buy fresh cow milk for your family.. then use the cream to make your butter. If not heavy cream from the store will work just fine!
