How many of us take time on Sunday's to slow down, rest and prepare for the week ahead? I am always teaching and encouraging you to take time daily and especially more on Sunday's to reflect on the previous week, your goals and to mentally prepare for the week to come.
Reflection has helped me more than I could write in this blog alone. When I take an honest look at my life, my actions, my character, my goals I can access if it's really where I want to be or... make some changes and try better in the days to come. One of the greatest things I love about Europe is the people's ability to just stop and rest. I feel like most especially in the western world may view this as lazy or a waste of time but in my humble opinion it's healthy for the body and mind.
Today people are resting here in Eastern Europe. They are either observing the Sabbath or just taking the day to rest, visit with family and eat a big Sunday dinner. It's nice to walk through the village and see people out sitting together, laughing and just "being still."
Today I encourage you to get alone for a half hour or more if you can and just try to still your mind and reflect. No worry, no fear... just be still and listen to your body... God.

Watch and participate in this video if you can before entering your time of reflection... meditation is a part of my daily routine and you will see the amazing benefits of helping you "become still" and "just be"
